Battery wont charge to 100%

Hey, so I just got my note 9 128gb a couple of days ago, and yesterday I unplugged it at 94% battery. However today the battery percentage would not go above 85% after a good 10 min or so. Is this something Samsung is doing in order to prevent battery degradation in the long term or do I have a faulty device? Of course I have been using the original charger that came out of the box.

No it should go to 100%

Try a soft reboot by turning it off and on.

Can you try another charger cable and brick.

If it won't then have the phone swapped out.

hmm, must've been a weird bug. I'm now reaching100% underthe same conditions. weird. Thanks alotguys!
