Battery won't fully charge on Pixel Stand

Hello friends. I have a Pixel 6, which I've been happy with although the fingerprint scanner didn't work properly for months but finally ok.

Problem now is that leaving phone on the Pixel Stand overnight it only charges to 70% (has always charged to 100%). However with the fast charger it still charges to 100%. Phone also gets quite hot on the Stand but less so fast charging.

Is the problem likely to be with the phone or the Stand? Phone less than 12 months old and presumably still under guarantee but Stand is older. Thanks.

Thank you. I've signed up via my Google account so assume that is ok? It does have a case on but has fully charged on the Stand for 10 months or so, so would that now cause the problem?

Sorry, didn't realize you've been a member for a little while -- I made you the owner of the original guest post to make it easier for you to find.

Do you remember it heating up like that on the Pixel Stand when it was charging fully?

What kind of case is it? Does it have a transparent plastic back, or is it more like flexible TPU? In my experience, cases with the transparent back (like the Ringke Fusion) don't dissipate heat as well as other kinds of cases. If that's causing the phone to heat up excessively while charging, that might be causing the phone halt charging as a safety measure.

You don't have any 3rd party battery monitor apps installed, right? Does this still happen in Safe Mode? https://support.google.com/pixelpho...hone's power button,the bottom of your screen.

Thanks. I have the Pixel case and it has got warm before but this felt hotter. Perhaps the excessive heat (for us) this week in the UK hasn't helped (33C currently). I don't have any third party battery monitor apps.

I've turned the phone and stand on and off, cleaned out the connections and I'll see how it is overnight. I'll then try it with the case off. Fingers crossed. ??????
