The past 2 nights I've had my battery run down 50% while I'm sleeping. I've looked on the battery control and it says "running normally". Any ideas? Had Adaptive Battery on the first night and off the second night---no change.

What about the battery stats -- what apps or services were using the most battery?

How's your cell signal?

On the Battery screen, tap the 3 dot menu button at the upper right, then "Battery usage." Then tap the menu button again, and tap "Show full device usage."

Amazon Music is clearly using a lot of battery -- were you listening to it a lot while you were awake, or could it have been running inappropriately overnight?

Try also clearing the Amazon Music app cache/data in Settings>Apps as well, in case there'e some wonky data that's causing it to stay awake and run the battery down.

I had the same issue with Amazon music when I first got my 4a5g and it wasn't even showing up as Amazon music in battery usage, and took me a while to find the culprit. I switched to Spotify
