Did HTC implement a stock battery percentage indicator for the status bar? I pretty much despise all the ones you can download from the play store.

I don't believe so. Why don't you try BatteryMix, from the Market? I think that you'll like it as much as i do.

Isn't the icon of the battery outline with the green interior the same thing as battery percentage? I don't know if the other apps provide a more realistic evaluation of battery life. The life of the battery is highly non-linear. Looking at the stock icon or going to settings to see that you have 48% battery left only gives you a warm-fuzzy. I've finally learned that having something like 22% remaining is next to nothing in reality!!

I use Battery Widget on my homescreen. Doesn't go in the status bar though. Agree that battery life is non linear!
