Mine is the 4G, but I have had it since March 2011 and the battery is still great.

day one wifi only purchase (dang, in two months my precious will be 2 years old ?!) -- battery still going strong... if there is any change from new, it's not noticeable.

Had mine since it first came out and was one of the first to get the 4G upgrade. My battery is working a well as the first day I bought it.
