So i keep trying to beam pictures to people with s3's and s4's and note 2's.. And they won't receive anything..
And when they try to beam something to me it always sends me to the play store and tells me to retry..

Does anyone know what i should do or what's wrong with it.. :'(

With Samsung devices, if they have S-Beam on along with Android Beam, by default Samsung devices will always use S-Beam. S-Beam only works with other Samsung phones so if you want to beam between Samsung phones and non-samsung phones, instruct your friends to disable S-Beam and just leave the regular beam function on. They'll be able to beam to you and vice versa.

LOL... what a handy feature for Clan Samsung. :p

I've not had an issue transferring via NFC between my N4 and the GF's S2. I'm sure we didn't turn off S-Beam...

I don't think s beam is on the s2. It was introduced with the s3, and I'm not sure if Samsung ever brought it over to the s2.

I thought I saw it in the settings... She's updated to the latest (for her T-989) 4.1.2...

I'll double check.

Honestly I hate messing with all that TouchWiz.

You may have saw just standard android beam, which was introduced in ICS.

...S Beam is in there, and it is toggled Off so we have been successful with Android Beam.
