Beats missing after OTA?

I noticed that the Beats icon isn't showing up in the notification bar anymore since installing the HTC OTA.

Anybody else?

Plugged in my headphones just now to check, the Beats icon shows up still.

On a side note, as soon as I plugged my headphones in, the last song I was listening to started playing. I'm using PowerAmp and I last used it last week. The phone has been rebooted since then. Is this normal behavior? Weird.

There is a setting in poweramp where the music starts back up once you connect headphones or not to turn on. You might have known that but just making sure

Oh crap. I usually plug my EVO into a desktop radio but this time I was just listening through the speaker. Forgot that the headphone jack has to be used for Beats to work.

Just a little jumpy after the OTA screwed up my cell radio.

My bad.

No problem. I had to disable it myself it kept scaring me once I put my headphones on lol

Just clarifying things a bit further. You just need to NOT be using the phone speaker for Beats Audio to work. The Beats Audio plays over bluetooth as well. Although you only get the "Other" headphones option. The other Sound Enhancers work over bluetooth too..
