Beautiful Widgets fail after pie

Well Beautiful Widgets is not working properly after Pie update. Time feature does not update unless you force it.

Both Free and Premium versions haven't been updated since 2016... I'm surprised it lasted this long without failing.

I had that issue with HD Widget, you can't let pie optimize it because it's using battery. I went into the app settings and turned off battery optimization.

Same here with Beautiful Widgets. I let the Device Maintenance program put BW to sleep without thinking about it, and then it wouldn't update. I finally got it turned off to where BW wouldn't go to sleep, but on Pie it still wants to only keep about 4 apps open in my "recents" button. Still working on that. I didn't mind the way that Oreo optimized but Pie is definitely different.
