i purchased the iphone x and the s9 in the same week, i wanted to know mainly which one recieves a weaker signal better because i live in a small dead zone. Right now the s9 wins, both in signal strength and speed tests over cellular ....now granted i dont completely trust speed test but the s9 was getting slightly higher numbers....now i wont say this wont change maybe with an software update in the future because i will tell you first hand the iphone x has been a hot mess.....which shocks me for an apple product, if i dont get the issues ironed out it's going back to the store.

camera is better on the s9 imo which is a big deal to me, mainly low light pics appearing cleaner with more detail and video on the s9 is more stable when walking around...oh and sound recording on the s9 blows away the ipx, its not even close.
the facial unlock on the ipx seems more reliable to me than the s9, but i think the finger print sensor on the front of both phones was the best solution compared to facial recognition ....i wear sunglasses alot so yeah im not a fan of it
the phone x feels heavier and wider but is slightly shorter by maybe an 1/8"
I think the s9 is the better phone overall
