Been through so many phones, BUT....

I got fed up with my moto z2 play last week. Laggy, terrible camera and no memory space left. Saw Verizon was having the deal on pixel 2 for a few bucks more a month. Done.

After having the phone since Friday I love it. Good size, wonderful camera, no lag. My one current gripe is the lack of headphone jack but I will get used to it

I found that the quality of my Bluetooth Wireless headset is so good that I'm now actually glad there is no ugly headphone jack hole! Not having dangling headphone wires is really a breath of fresh air!

Plus, at least with my clumsiness, it's one less port to get dirty or filled with water/moisture (even though the Pixel 2 is water resistant). 🤣

Testing out my new Bluetooth headphones now. So far so good!

I suffer from CAPS (Compulsive Android Purchase Syndrome) and I usually purchase every flagship Android phone that's introduced and sell my current phone. This time, though, I'm going to skip the S9+, stick with my Pixel 2 XL, and probably buy the Pixel 3 XL when it's introduced next September or October. To help control my CAPS I switched carriers and I'm now with Google's Project Fi and flagship phones other than Google's can't take advantage of all the Project Fi features.

One feature I was missing from my iPhone X, was the awesome ability to take those good portrait pics. I found that option in the camera app on my XL and I don't regret leaving the X for this! I'm probably behind but I just discovered it today.

Without a doubt...best camera today.

We switched from Sprint to Fi in October and couldn't be more pleased. We've cut our costs in half and have better service! Kate inherited my Nexus 6 but covets my Pixel 2 XL. We both are very much looking forward to the Pixel 3 XL.
