Beeping during calls

Hey not sure why now but since getting Froyo I hear a beating sound about every ten seconds when I'm making a phone call. Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone hopefully know what it is and the fix to it? Thanks.

doug i had it happen 1 time today kept thinking someone was beeping in on caller id but there was no one there

happened to me too, but i just pawned it off on receiving an SMS/mail/message. Did you have any emails unread, i know there is a repeat notification for those until you read them...

Had no unread emails or unread SMS messages. So I have no idea why it is doing it or how to get rid of it.

Anyone have any ideas? This is extremely annoying when on the phone with someone.

Ok well I had easy root still on and after I unrooted it the problem went away. Not sure why or how that could have been the cause but seems to be working now.

Leak 2.2 and when mine beeps like a incoming call it is just a tex or email. Not sure why the ota has it with no notification.
