Hello, im a begginer in android. ive heard alot about android and finally got my first android phone nov 2010 no contract for $430. few months into getting it, i rooted the phone and flashed the first version of ice glacier rom. great phone, no problems. only this anoyying widget problem that occurs. when ever i reboot the phone, or connect it through usb to my computer, some widgets from the sd card go blank and dont return even if reboot after usb disconnection. besides that i love this phone 
. this is a first batch mt4g, and works great, with no strange problems that the later mt4g's have that are on sale. cause they are poor quality now.
i need advice on the new mt4g update with 2.3.4 from t-mobile. should i first flash the original stock rom first then do the update? or should i just take it like this to a t-mobile retail store. i dont want to brick the phone cause its rooted. or can i do it myself since the phone IS rooted. i would like to do it with t-mobile but dont know if i should because of it being rooted. thanks in advance.
