Beginning with htc

Hi I am new to android and htc as had an iPhone for the past 4 years. Really looking forward to trying the htc one as due to receive the handset tomorrow after a month wait.

I was just wondering what would you recommend to get for the htc one to help the running e.g browsers, anti virus etc as am only use to apple apps not android. Any help would be great.

These would be my preferences: Lookout Antivirus, Chrome browser. Many times you can find the same apps in Play Store as you had in Apple.

Free Avast antivirus seems to include alot the others charge for in their 'pro' versions. Not tried the others so anyone can jump in if they work alot better.
Browsers I'd recommend using and looking through the settings in stock browser I think it's top notch.

These would be my preferences: Lookout Antivirus, Chrome browser. Many times you can find the same apps in Play Store as you had in Apple.

The One already comes with both of those apps pre-installed.

Oh, yeah, right. Well. I like them. Lookout was the one that caught that Russian Malware just recently. I've always used Chrome on other devices. Yahoo browser was also preinstalled, which has way too many ads for my tastes. Chrome isn't available on Apple, so i thought i would mention it.
