Bell Sensation 4G shuts down

Even with the battery at 100%, if I leave the phone on and set an alarm for the next morning, for example, when I wake up, the phone is OFF. If I turn it back on, it shows 99% battery (or thereabouts). It seems to spontaneously shut down. Any ideas why this might be happening? Otherwise it's working ok.
