So I like many others have been subjected to using large phones to get the best specs that Android OS evolved too.
The best Android phones have generally been created by Samsung IMO.
I had the S24 Ultra which is an excellent phone. I sold it after a few months of use and went with the smaller S24 cause I just wanted a pocketable phone
I was always jealous of my iPhone family cause they had a high spec phone but in a small form factory. My favorite small Samsung phone was the S10e.
After weeks of waiting for delivery I just got the Pixel 9 pro. For me I'm a casual phone user. Not much gaming mostly calls, texting and watching YouTube or Apollo Group TV for streaming.
I have had the a pixel 8 pro but kept the S24 Ultra over that phone cause it was better.
The Pixel 9 Pro is the best Android phone 6.3 inches and under.
I realize that it is not the best chip set and it doesn't have storage UFS 4.0 or higher but neither does the newest iPhone 16 Pro.
Specs aside, this phone is really great. The screen is better, brighter and sharper than the S24. Battery life on this phone has been excellent. I easily get 6 hours SOT with 20-30% battery left at night. If I have to charge it overnight, I still wake up with enough battery to make it to work and put on a charger, and if I'm not using the phone during the day, then this is a 2-day phone for me.
I'm still getting used to the AI features and I have not used the camera much just to take pictures of my S24 to sell on Swappa.com.
Tonight is my mom's 75th birthday party so I will be taking a lot of photos.
Aside from that, as the title says, the Pixel 9 Pro is the best Android phone 6.3 inches and under.

I am really liking my 9 Pro XL. I came from the S22 ultra. Prefer the form factor of the Pixel. It has a big screen but just feels smaller than the Samsung. Glad to be back in the Pixel world.

I'm in love with my P9P, however I really miss the seamless syncing/functionality of my watch and buds with my S24U. I remember one year there was a Note and Note +. I went with the +, but if we had the choice now, I'd go for the smaller Note/Ultra. Assuming top end specs of course. This 6.3 inch screen is so easy to use. It's a beautiful device in the perfect size for me. I love Pixels software also. It doesn't have all the bells n whistles (SPen), but I don't care enough to switch back to my S24U yet. Never thought I'd own anything other than a Note/Ultra.
