I am in the market for a new tablet after, well let's just say, a little mishap with my Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet. I am looking at the Xperia Z4, just because I know what to expect and I really dug my Z2. It is a little pricey, but it is doable for me. The only thing that the Xperia can do that other tablets cannot is PS4 Remote Play. I don't know how important that is to me...yet lol.
I have been looking at the Surface 3, but I don't know how well a full blown Windows 10 will behave strictly for tablet use. I don't know if the S3 is a little overkill for what I am going to use it for, but price wise it is about on par with the Xperia Z4. I am not opposed to other tablets if you all have any recommendations.
I will be using the device for streaming and downloading TV shows and movies over the internet and over my home network. I will be streaming games from my gaming rig, and possibly my PS4. Remote Play is not a deciding factor, though. I would like at least a 10" tablet with at least 1080p resolution and not a lot of bloatware. I would like for it to be "snappy", too. No one likes lag, right?
Anyhow...do you all here have any experience with the devices I have listed or any suggestion or advice on some decent tablets? My budget hovers around the price of a Z4/Surface 3. Like I stated, I am not opposed to other make or models. All suggestion, help and advice is greatly appreciated.
