I'm seeking the best application outside of HootSuite that I can combine multiple twitter and facebook accounts. HootSuite looks like it may the best one out there but I figure I ask for some opinions on here first. Thanks

I used to love Scope (formerly SocialScope), but development seems to be sporadic at best and has simply become unreliable.

I've now started using Plume. I like the aesthetics of it and it supports both FB and twitter, and multiple accounts. There is no integrated timeline, which would be nice, and FB functionality is somewhat limited as well (you can essentially view the timeline and make new posts). Fortunately, I'm barely active on FB, so it gets the job done for me...but it's basically a really good Twitter client with limited FB access.

I was not happy with Hootsuite, Plume, or Seesmic. I've been pretty happy with Scope until it disappeared about a month ago. The next best thing I've found has been Ubersocial.

I miss Tweakdeck and Tweetdeck. Ten thousand curses upon the heads of those at Twitter who killed Tweetdeck, and their progeny to the hundredth generation. (Yeah, I feel that strongly about it.) Go ndeine an diabhal dr?imire de cn?mh a ndroma ag piocadh ?ll i ngaird?n Ifrinn.

Scope has been awesome, but throughout the years support for the app has been very sporadic. I started using it on BlackBerry years ago, and back then it truly was the gem of all Twitter clients, and FB integration made it even better. The problem was that it available by invite only, and they seemed to go months at a time without giving out any invites or responding to any support feedback. Then, out of nowhere they would come out with a flurry of updates. It was the same with their Android app (which had been teased by the devs for a good year+ before it came to fruition).

The Android Scope app was/is awesome. Support for Twitter, FB, Instagram, Reddit feeds, and probably a few others I'm forgetting about. But again, the devs have seemed to just disappear and the app isn't updating anymore.

As mentioned above, I've switched to Plume, which as a Twitter client I'm very happy with, but the FB support, while present, isn't very robust at all, and there is no "unified" timeline either.
