Someone was joking when they allowing BB to have exclusivity right? I mean come on. They will be able to charge whatever they want no with no true competition. What is going on? I at least thought someone would cut some sweet deals on this phone buy now it will turn out like the Nexus S sitting on shelves or in inventory. That phone barely sold here. The BBC Rep told me they sold 8 and most of those came back. All this is just a shame.

Well... you realize they are the exclusive THIRD PARTY vendor (aka Wal-Mart, Amazon, etc. won't carry it), but the Verizon Wireless stores will still carry it, right? I think it'll sell just fine.

Yea like i said before, BB will get it but they don't have some exclusive deal to be the only store to have the TB. We may be the only third party store to offer it, although i did hear wal mart will have it sometime in the near future.

Yeah the guy at BB today told me it would be exclusive "for a few weeks." Who knows, not a huge deal really as long as the phone is available!

It's a bit of a deal for me because I was hoping to get the best deal possible. Maybe drive a little competition and get the price down some. Sure it's available, and if I wanted to pay $250 for it, I could. I just don't want to spend more than I have to spend. Another third party would really have been helpful. I mean look at the deals on Wirefly, Letstalk, Amazon or Wal-mart. They are just astounding. I also just read that T-mobile is offering any phone in the store for free with contract this weekend (weekend of Valentine's day). That will be a MAJOR deal. Why don't we see Verizon doing some of the same things? Sad really.

All those 3rd party retailers that lower the phone cost a bit only offer 2 year contract deals to get that pricing. Again, it's incentive to lock you into a longer term monthly deal.

And you know why we don't see VZW doing "any phone for free" deals ? Because they have a fantastic network to back themselves on, and aren't hurting for cash & customers the way Tmo is. Simple as that.

If you really want to save a couple of bucks you could always wait until next year to buy it. Then you can get it for cheap :)

Seriously... gotta pay to play in the bleeding edge cell phone arena. They make low/mid range smartphones for a reason, and they also discount phones as they become "older" models, again for a reason.

Yep. You want to keep up, you gotta pay a little extra. Although if you do like i do, keep your current phone is perfect condition, you can sell it on ebay for near full retail price.

I wonder if Amazon is considered a "retailer" then. I mean, yeah they are a retailer, but if they're selling it, that kind of takes away from the retail exclusivity for Best Buy. Unless they're going to narrow it down even more to actual stores...in which case they might as well just say "Walmart and Target won't have it, but we will!"

Why say that? It had us all believing that no one else would have it... it was a good release.
