Jay, maybe you should send that memo to the reps at online(chat) / telephone customer service. I had two reps telling me this evening that there has been no official release date announced yet. They refused to even look at the Best Buy corporate news page online when the announcement press release was posted this morning. The phone rep told me they had been "ordered" not to give out any dates.

Some people succeed in getting Best Buy to match the Verizon brick n mortor prices. Not always, as some BB people say that doesn't apply. BB is not always consistent.

That's what it said a week ago when I scanned it in the POS. But sometimes when a device actually releases the emp price changes. Lets hope not though

When i typed in the SKU in pos during an employee transaction, it shows the full price plus tax for a split second before it ask for customer info. The price full retail for an employee in Phoenix, AZ was $433.76. I love checking employee prices. Not to mention it's a good deal since i will be replacing this phone early next year with my upgrade. and may be able to get more on ebay than i paid.
