Best Buy Platinum Series Cases...

i have heard some talk over this-but are the platinum series cases by best buy just a re-branding of a seidio product?! I am still considering whether to invest in a case for my bolt, but people from here also have me thinking to just let her roam naked and free!

Well, just my 2 pence, but I believe I'm going to get this case for my tbolt,

The only thing is, I have no idea about how good these cases are besides maybe a few good reviews on Amazon. Looks good though. Could use opinions :-[

Thats nice but the soft gel doesn't work for me. Phone gets stuck in my pocket way too easy.

Ive always thought the platinum products were just as good. I have a platinum series extended battery in my inc. Cheaper than seidio, same product.

same value but less expensive never hurts! For me it's either a hard slim case-or naked thunderbolt it is.

I can offer my experience with the same type of Amzer case I had for my Droid X, the nubs that cover over the buttons, like volume, power etc. are really stiff and don't give you a real sense of feed back. I ended up cutting them out, and then they were too far recessed to be useable. I only paid like $7 for it so in the trash it went. You get what you pay for at time.

Will the rugged add on kit for the inocase II fit the platinum case from best buy for the thunderbolt.

Verizon sells the soft gel like case but it has a smooth plastic feel to it, not the sticky silicone type texture. They are translucent and come in a variety of color.

I've had it on my Incredible, Droid X and now on my Thunderbolt.

I bought the pt case yesterday and must say its awesome IMO. The fit and finish is top notch

Personally is a tank the way it is. I have grown to care for the heft of this thing with the same gusto that Freddie mercury wrote his hit Fat bottomed girls with. That said I don't like cases that obstruct edges on the screen and I don't think my pockets have enough volume to fit a case thunderbolt. In any case this thing feels fairly sturdy. I drop phones but I'd feel comfortable putting this thing through the ringer as I'm sure I will.
