Best Buy pre-orders Verizon 512GB

Anyone still waiting for their Best Buy pre-orders? I pre-ordered the Verizon 512GB version of the fold3 at Best Buy on 8/18 and still have not received my phone yet! Tried following it up at the store and through Best Buy customer service over the phone but no one can give me an estimate on when my order will be ready. Is this normal?

Good luck with best buy. They never even showed Verizon 512 version when I checked a few times. Best buy is not known for fast service on pre-orders

It's been almost a month since I pre-ordered and still no sign of when it will ship. Getting so fed up with this. Considering getting an iPhone 13 pro instead.

Best buy has the unlocked for $1599, 512 version. Says 2 days for in store pick up or delivery.

Yeah but then I will lose the pre-ordering Samsung credit and the trade in credit from Verizon if I buy the unlocked version. It's an $800 difference in price.

True. Check the dates on those promos, you might lose them anyway.

Wouldn't be the first time best buy cost customers the promos. I looked at the Verizon variant for the 512 and it says sold out.

Samsung rep at Best Buy claims that Samsung will honor the promotion credit after the expiration date if it's a legitimate supply issue.

Hopefully they do. Verizon may not though. I hope you get it all, I hate it when best buy does this crap. Best buy never offered the Verizon 512 version every time I checked. I was thinking about going thru best buy, but it was never offered when I looked.

Verizon better uphold their end. I've already activated a new unlimited plan with this upgrade back on 8/18 when I pre-ordered. Also Best Buy offered the Verizon 512GB on and off randomly even after saying it's been sold out. I saw it available for ordering as recently as yesterday, albeit with no delivery date provided.

I have no idea if they will or not, you will find out that's for sure, but if you already activated a line you should. You having to deal with best buy getting one and then Samsung for the $200 is more of a worry. If Verizon offers another $1,000 trade in I would go that route, to be honest I don't see best buy getting the 512 in the near near future. Good luck with this journey, I hope it works out, best buy is a great place to get good deals on phones, but preordering from them can be like this. I'm fortunate that best buy never had them available to order for me or I might be on this journey with you, and I would be upset also.
