The universal 2.1 amp one they sell at Sam's Club works well for me. Charges fast. I'm not sure on the brand any more but they only sell one. I bought their braided cable for it also. If you use the higher amp slot on it it seems to enable the fast charge 1.0 feature. It will do until the 2.0 chargers come out. I think these chargers need some kind of proprietary circuit as well as higher amperage to enable the 2.0 feature of the phone.
My cheap 6 dollar car charger broke and I've been looking for another on Amazon. Found some retractable cord one with mixed reviews. But I do now i need at least a 1 amp one correct? Our phone supports 2 but they don't make 2 amps yet is that right? I just know this phone charges faster than the M7 and the external battery thing I got charges fast too. But I need a good car charger. I'll look into what was posted above from Amazon that plugs into the lighter and than I need a cord right? And that shows it has 2.0 so I plug it into the middle one? I kind of wanted the whole charger where I don't need a cord in the 2.0 but I am not sure if they make it. I may have an extra cord laying around here somewhere.
Edit: Plus someone wrote if you have an older vehicle that cannot provide that level of current this charger cannot perform miracles. It worked flawlessly in my 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander. And I have a 2002 Escort but I think he meant if your using all 3 and I just need to use the one for my phone. I don' t need the 3 I just need one 2.0 I think 2.1 i for tablets maybe I don't know much about it.
The Verizon charger with extra USB port works well and is not exceptionally pricey (around $20) and it has a little LED light built into the micro USB port end to help in plugging it in. Also, ATT always seems to have some chargers on sale at reasonable prices.
