Best carrier to have with Nexus Prime

If you had the chance to snag a Nexus Prime on any carrier - price and plan were the same - which carrier would you choose?

Verizon is a no brainer with their 4G LTE network and reliable 3G network (in my experience).

That's easy, Verizon. I can't go back to a non-LTE network or a non-LTE phone. It helps that I have unlimited LTE data for $9.99 a month though.

I'd say it varies per region, but the best hope is Verizon because of LTE.

edit: just a side note, TMobile (+Walmart) will have a 30 dollar plan with "unlimited" (5gb) data and unlimited texts (and 100 minutes) for 30 dollars. If you are extremely price sensitive, you could use GrooVe IP and this plan and basically get unlimited everything for $30. Obviously, if TMobile is good in your area and LTE isn't available (or is too expensive) this is about as good as it gets.

Under those conditions, without a doubt I'd pick Verizon.

AT&T Iphone loads webpages faster than my verizon iphone.

If you're in one of the few cities where AT&T is unveiling LTE this year and don't travel a lot, then I'd go with AT&T for the simple fact they are less expensive.
But I don't think they are getting the LTE Nexus Prime anytime soon. Definitely not this year (IMO).

The iPhone is fastest on At&T's network. Which is why the 4s can get up to 14mbps download speeds but only on AT&T's HSPA. Don't base your opinions on the Verizon iPhone.

This is not a good comparison at all. The carrier matters a lot. While Verizon might have a wider network than Sprint, Sprint gives you unlimited data. That doesn't exist for Verizon. To take the unlimited option out of the equation is an unfair and invalid comparison. You want to use your Nexus Prime to surf the web, watch TV on Netflix, play online games? You can on all the networks, but only Sprint will let you do it all month long. Verizon and AT&T will only let you do it for a limited number of GB.

Sure, but Verizon's LTE has a limit (5GB). So you'll be downloading movies superfast on the Nexus Prime and be out of data within 2 weeks.

Remember lots of people on here are still grandfathered unlimited data from verizon. So for some people on here, this is still a no brainer. All you can eat grandfathered LTE? Take it! Verizon!!

Not if the coverage is crap. Plus, I have unlimited data and like I said, I only pay $9.99 a month for that unlimited LTE data. Yes it was a promotion, but as long as I don't change my plan, I get that price for life and I don't see myself changing my plan anytime in the future as I don't even use half of the 1400 minutes on my family plan.

Sure, that makes sense but for the OP question, it implies changing to whichever network is the best for the device. In that scenario, you get limited data for Verizon.

I thought T-mobile would have been the best one if the phone would support HSPA+ 42. They have cheaper plans and HSPA+ 42 is fast enough. It doesn't suck up the battery like LTE. Unfortunately, I don't think the phone would support HSPA+ 42 unless things changed in those chips they use.

I think I have to agree and say Verizon here, even if I'm jumping ship and taking my business elsewhere. Their coverage in my area (South Fl) is abysmal; I can't get any signal at work and I'm tired of being stuck to a contract.

I'm hoping that the Prime hits T-mobile or has a Global version (which it might as well have), because I plan to bring it to Simple mobile if it does. Their coverage is good, they don't charge an arm and a leg, and I can live with FauxG.
