Best cloud solution for all photos & videos?

Hi,

I am looking for some recommendations in choosing a cloud storage solution. Before I was using Dropbox, Google Drive, external HDDs, I had an iCloud some years ago and now it's One Drive.
I would like to have one place to put all my photos & videos. And also to have this seamless backup+view on any device interaction like iPhone/Mac users have with their iCloud (minus weird download/upload solution).

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Hi, welcome to AC!
I think Google drive/photos is very good option, I use both across my devices and even iPhone.

Welcome to Android Central! I moved this from the Android Apps forum to the General Help forum since the former is intended for developers to promote their apps.

If you don't want to use Google Photos, and if you have Amazon Prime, then consider Amazon Photos, which gives you unlimited full-resolution photo storage and 5 GB of video storage.

Everything I take on my phone is currently in Google Photos. That said - I have a Synology NAS that I'm expecting a system update on which will give me access to a new Photos app that Synology has developed. I think I'll move to that, and will find a backup solution for that space on the NAS when I've done that.

Setup Nextcloud on your own server, add a sync photos app. Backup your photos with a sync app and you are golden

The best and safest and most secure is OneDrive. also you can invest in Switzerland service which government can't touch but however Google the enterprise has government access if you know what I mean government uses Google drives for storage.

So if you're keeping any financial data or anything like that that's really sensitive you might want to investing OneDrive.

also for a throw out (trash) use Mega.nz

I invest in a wireless external drive that's hidden with a hidden SSID.

I use Google drive for work and haven't had any data tampered with

I use both Google Drive/Google Photos and OneDrive for my data backups. Both work well, and having 2 of these cloud backups plus a local backup on an external HDD gives me peace of mind that I won't anything.
