Best feeling cases?

Hi all, I know many won't agree because I saw someone else mention this yesterday morning and I didn't think much until my phone arrived...

I love the phone but the edges feel sharp in my hand. I'm going to compare the edges to my optimus f7 which is about the same size as the Nexus 5, but I have a soft backing case on the former so it doesn't really dig into the skin.

I do have nerve damage and that could be why this is more noticeable to me and not noticeable to most but I read in a thread here yesterday morning that at least two other posters felt the same way.

So, I know I'll be able to find those same type soft cases I bought for the f7 for the n5 but I'm wondering if there are suggestions for cases built with comfort specifically in mind. Also if they might make the back more ergonomically comfortable in the hand. Whatever. :)

Any suggestions will be appreciated. And I really love the phone! If nothing else I'll get those soft cases for it.

In the meantime I just ordered this

Hyperion LG Google Nexus 5 Matte Flexible TPU Case for LG Google Nexus 5 (Compatible with Domestic and International Google Nexus 5 D-820, D-821 & LG-D820 Models) ... Hyperion EA (1)

I didn't realize so many cases are tpu. It should be smoother on the edges anyway.

TPU cases feel a lot softer so that should help :)

It definitely should. The cheap case on the f7 looks clunky but it feels OK around the edges. Tbh I really haven't held the F7 without the case. I should try it now to compare.:)

Hm the f7 is a lot smoother around the edges than the Nexus 5. Interesting. It's a lot lighter and slimmer without the gel case on it, too. Never really held it for use without that case before.

The cool thing about Boost Mobile is there's no carrier logos on the device other than their logo on the lock screen.

But that just struck me in comparison to the unlocked Nexus 5 since that's obviously free of any carrier stuff.

So this lg phone is one I could use without a case but the Nexus 5 will feel a lot better in my hands once I get the case. The nice thing about the white is I can get the less opaque gel cases in various colors if they're cheap and the colors will show up well over white.

It still feels better with the case on. It feels cooler and more uniformly smooth. So I don't care how clunky looking a gel case may look for the Nexus if it feels like this or better. :)

I have a spigen neo hybrid and it feels solid and grips nicely. Provides a little lip for when it's face down too.
