I'm in search for the PERFECT navigation app and/or device (i.e., TomTom, Garmin, etc.) but all seem to be missing some or most of my desired features.
Below are just a few apps that are popular but by all means add one you know of that has most if not all the features I'm looking for below...
Google Navigation
CoPilotLive
AT&T TeleNav
TomTom (Coming "Soon")
The features that are probably the most important to me include...
1. Use the GPS "offline" so I don't have to worry about losing my route if I lose my mobile connection.
I don't think Google Navigation does this yet, right? I was also wondering why Google Navigation has been in the "beta" stage for so long? Has Google dropped this and moved on to other things? Seems like Google has a focus issue when it comes to any of their products.
2. Voice-Activated Navigation (speak routes and other commands to navigate)
I don't think CoPilot Live has this feature yet but I could be wrong.
3. Multiple Route Options
I don't know if any of them do this but I simply want 3 different route options to choose from, much like Google Maps shows when you enter a desitation on your PC. This is SO useful as my Garmin will pick what IT thinks is the "fastest" route and time and again I take another route that is faster.
4. Option To Choose Auto or Walking
5. Parked Car Tracker (Garmin does this well, when you remove it from the cradle, Garmin automatically saves your location so you can find your car again. VERY useful and a simple feature in my opinion.
