Best Kernel For Better Performance/Battery Life?

I'm constantly on my EVO 24/7 and I'm very big on battery life for that matter. What kind of kernels/ROMs should I look into to improve this? Right now, I'm running Salvage-Mod 1.2.1 with included kernel(2.6.37.4-FreBASE-CMKernel-Remix-gf0afe48-dirty . Any ideas/inputs are welcomed.

It will always be a case of YMMV. Just the way it is.. So many factors for battery life. I've run things on my phone that will not work nearly as well life/performance wise on my GF's evo. It really is trial and error. Plus whats it work to be running a rom that is buggy or you does not suit your taste or improve your functionality for more life.

I've run several different set ups... I can go about two days with CM7 Stable (any of them) and Savage Zen or Tiamat (sp?) Kernal. Of course I run SBC kernals too.. (Sprint extended battery)

Again YMMV.
