Best kernel for over/underclocking?

Can anyone recommend a kernel that is stable? Another part to this question, does anyone else under/overclock? If so, what is the setup you use?

Set cpu works. You can underclock the stock kernel just fine. You just can't overclock it.

I will get right on this! I don't really need to overclock it, but the ability to squeeze some more out of the battery by underclocking is enticing..
