Best launcher?

Hi everyone, after 8 years I have come back to #teamandroid
I just got an unlocked HTC U11 and I've been trying to learn the ropes on my own. But, I'm having a hard time figuring out which launcher works the best.
I'm very much into customization and themes and love for them to match. Im using Go SMS Pro and keyboard. Also cheetah and wave. If any of you have any suggestions on better messaging apps and an awesome launcher that would be appreciated, thanks so much!

Action launcher for power user and Advance users. paid version is better.

Google Now launcher. Simple and awesome.

Looks like the Google Now Launcher hasn't been updated since 2015. The Pixel Launcher isn't comparable.

Welcome to the forums! So glad you are enjoying your HTC U11! What colour did you get?

As far as themes and messaging apps go, the Google Play Store has a bunch of different themes for you to choose from! Go SMS Pro is a good messaging app as well! I use Textra Pro and I really love the customizable nature of it - you could always match Textra to your individual themes and launcher preferences.

With regards to launchers, the Nova Launcher is a very well-loved and well-rated user experience.

thank you so much for the welcome and replies! I have the beauty sapphire blue. I wound up using mood for my messaging app. I enjoy it a lot. As far as launchers go, I haven't found launcher peace yet. I'll find one I really enjoy and then there's not many themes for it. I'm not a DIY theme girl so I want one that has enough to offer.
