I tried the stock, I tried the GB update version... I'm not happy with either.

I just downloaded the alpha release that is skinned like Zune made by the creator of Launcher Pro.

Given that my mp3 player is a Zune HD, I think the setup is pretty freaking sweet. Especially for an alpha release.


I'll have to give power amp a shot too.

I use meridian for streaming video. Arc media for xvid. I have power amp and "music mod" I am not liking power amp cuz it starts playing when I plug in something into my headphone jack. I liked the equalizer. It freezes up on me, and I dunno how to EXIT it easily! Looking for something better. I am annoyed!

You can change the PowerAmp settings to stop it from playing when you connect something into your jack. Go to settings, Headset Options and uncheck Resume on Headset connect. It doesn't have an exit feature, so I just pause the music hit home and kill it with my task manager.

Personally I love PowerAmp.

I found a really good one the other day called cloudskipper, it was on the featured app list (where its shows all the apps when you first enter the market)

I hope you have looked in the Market for the skins. The Metro one will look very familiar.
