Best online deals Amazon/VZW/BB ect.

seems you cant upgrade if existing customer every zip code i put in it says not available for your zip code

yeah well i'm moving from ATT to VZW so i'm a new customer. thing is, im going to have to pay a ETF of $70, but if i buy from amazon i will still get the phone cheaper WITH the ETF than i would if i got it at BB.

hmmm...after doing some research in seeing if best buy might price match amazon, i have found that peoples' luck varies by store. the good news is that if any department WILL match online, it's the mobile department. anyway, i plan on bringing in my ad and if they simply will not budget (after talking with the manager) i'll try to get a deal and tell them that i will buy a case, screen protectors, and SD card on the spot (planned on doing that anyway :-) if they will price match.

i know that BB and other big box electronic stores make more money on the sale of accessories, but i think thats mainly for stereo/tv stuff. we'll see....

I just found out that Wirefly is offering a free bluetooth headset ($50 value) with Incredible + contract if you use code WIREFLYBLUE11, so equivalent value to the Amazon deal if you were planning to buy a bluetooth headset. Wirefly might let you renew/extend your existing plan, so worth checking out.

They are also offering the 2GB microSD card with code WIREFLYMEMCARD18 regardless of plan, but it can't be stacked with the bluetooth headset offer.

I was planning on ordering the incredible online this weekend off of Verizon for $170 ($30 off) and I also get 20% off through my work email. I also have to port 2 numbers to the family plan I am getting along with the incredible.

Since BB is matching the $99 will they also transfer my 2 numbers and let me use the 20% from work? If so I would save $70, but right now online seems easiest because it handles the discount and number transfers. Anyone done something similar?

Thanks,
Scincidae

I'm currently with AT&T, but my contract expired a couple months ago. I was thinking of getting two "unlocked" AT&T Nexus Ones and staying with the same network... But since I'd have to get two phones it would cost me over $1,060 plus taxes for the phones. The Incredible for $99 from Amazon and BB sounds like a very good deal. I guess the ETFs in BB and Amazon will be the same as those when ordering the phone directly from Verizon ($350). Btw, can anyone tell me if the termination fee is pro-rated?

I currently have a family plan with 700 Nation Wide minutes that I share with my wife. My phone costs me $60 for talk + $35 for unlimited data with 200 text messages. My wife phone with this family plan costs me $9.99 talk + $35 for the data and text. Total monthly fee $140 before fees and taxes. The family plan gives me rollover minutes, unlimited Nights & W/E and unlimited (in network) mobile to mobile minutes. The 700 minutes and the 200 texts are more than enough given the we don't use these phones for business. If I switch to Verizon, which plans approximates the talk, text and data plan that I currently have?

I like having the freedom of not being under contract, but the cost of getting a new unsubsidized state-of-the art Smartphone that I like is very high. Going back to your provider for a contract that will save you money because you already have a phone does not exist. The other issue is that even with an "unlocked" device in the US one does not have "real" freedom to move from one wireless provider to another unless you sell the phone. An AT&T unlocked N1 does not work in Verizon (CDMA vs GSM) and it's crippled with t-mobile and other providers because 3G is deployed in different bands. My fear is that if I switch to Verizon to save a couple bucks on the device that I would be in the hole for the "full" $700 ETF. After a few months I might be unhappy with the service or I might find that it costs me more money than it if I had stayed with AT&T using an unlocked phone. Any thoughts?

Well i only paid 108.00 with taxes for my incredible. My contract wasnt supposed to be up until 7-2010 but i called cs and told them i was having trouble pre-oredering the phone on the 27th so the nice guy he was, told me he would change my contract date to april 27th (the day of the call) and since he wasnt able to pre-order the phone for me i then went online and ordered it myself using my ne2 which was 100.00 and got the phone for 108.00...overnight shipping with taxes. Got the phone yesterday and im lovin it

Found a no-bid Incredible for $350 with 2 days left on eBay, contacted the seller, getting it for $475 by next Tuesday. :D Deal ftw.

Not sure where you're seeing the Incredible for $99 on Amazon. What's the best deal someone can get that's eligible for an upgrade?

Thanks!

Got mine on a 1 year contract with VZW for $229 and sweet talked them into giving me the $30 off bringing it down to $199. I'm a corporate customer.
