Best option to get message back up

So I had to uninstall beta Q then roll back into it for mobile data issue. Now I had back up everything but I can never get my message to come back after backing them up lost all of them , so what you guys think is best option?

Possibly, in the future, backing up your messages through your Google account or Gmail or something?

It showed it was back up , but nothing came back , I've had this issue with all my Google/Nexus phones .

You can configure it to save the backup directly to Google Drive or Dropbox, etc.

I'm a phone addict and use the free version. I've been on the 6t, s10e, and pixel 3 over the past 3 months. Before switching phones I back up with SMS B/R and everything transfers seamlessly. Make sure you go into advanced options and select MMS as well for pictures etc...

The free version will work. You have to remember to save the backup somewhere since you can't put it on an SD card in your case. Not sure why your backups aren't restoring.

Yeah not sure either , but I downloaded the free version to Google drive .

I'm guessing your latest backup is from Q and when you restore to P and try to restore from lastest backup (Q) there might be some issues due to different Android version? Probably restoring from a little older backup from P might restore everything correctly. Obviously you will lose latest messages after the older backup. That's my guess.

But yeah just to be safe if restoring messages are important then use an app to backup the messages.

Yeah that's what happened, but I don't even get the ones that was back up in P , going try this app that GSDer and everyone suggest.

Yeah, that's the truth unfortunately. They supposed to be helping you out with issues, but instead all they do is get annoyed with you,and are just plain mean.

They shouldn't be involved helping if they dont have patience with other people.

Oh I completely completely agree. the fact of the matter is that they get irritated very quickly, and it's just not worth my time. Ohh well.
