Best performance rom/kernel

Dungeon Defenders has been released recently and I really love the game. But the problem is that it does not run really good on my EVO. So I am looking for the best rom/kernel to increase performance as much as possible.

Currently I am running Vaelpak with the 2.6.32.24-kings-havs kernel with my processor overclocked to 1152000. My Quadrant scores average in the 1400s.

I am looking for a ROM/kernel combo to get the best performance possible out of my EVO to run dungeon defenders more smoothly. Does anyone have some recommendations to get the fastest speed possible?

Cyanogen mod 6.1.2 with the kernel that comes with it or the latest savage kernel. Overclocked.

It runs smoothly at first but once a lot of towers are placed or monsters spawn it turns into a slideshow. So I am trying to look for a performance boost to get rid of the slideshow when a lot is going on.

On IRC I heard that a Snap kernel is being developed for CM6.1.x - that was really fast on CM6 so I've just kind of been holding out for that.

Well I tried out the cyanogen rom and it made a huge difference. Went from a slideshow to just a little stuttering...I think I just found my new favorite rom

Is out worth giving up 4g for you?

I'm torn between Roms... I really like the speed of CM6 but hate the camera and gallery. I love Myns but it seems to make my phone drag...although I love the battery life, Sense camera and gallery. I'm using Kings kernel 11..is there a better alternative to speed up Myns?

I don't have 4G in my city but CM6 really makes the EVO fly. If I had a good Sprint 3G signal I'd stay with CM6 especially since 4G support is coming soon.

Well i don't have 4g in my area so that part doesn't matter to me. But the performance increase I got just from switching to the CM rom was pretty big and that was coming from another custom rom with my processor overclocked.

MY quadrant scores went from low 1400s to averaging 1550-1600. But as an example for actual performance Dungeon defenders went from a slideshow to just a little stuttering with lots of stuff going on which was a huge improvement.
