Which are the best? In terms of (1) network coverage, (2) service/reliability, and (3) pricing? I'm in the USA---Pacific Northwest.

Is that 100 minute unlimited text, unlimited data (5GB then throttled) plan from T-Mobile/Walmart still available?

Talk & text, both about average. Data usage, about 3-4gb/month

Gophone, an AT&T prepaid service, offers unlim talk/text and 2.5gb of high speed for $60.
Cricket, an AT&T MNVO, offers unlim talk/text and 3gb of high high speed for $50 ($45 with prepay option which charges your credit card a little earlier and saves $5).

Note that Cricket is an MNVO, so their service is routed through a proxy which contributes to higher average ping times. Plus their download speeds are throttled to 8gb for LTE and 4gb for HSPA. I'm on Cricket's 10gb plan which will run me $55/month.

If you want to come to Cricket, there's a deal going on where you get $100 in credit if you switch from another carrier. I can also give you a referral code which will get you $25 if you sign up after getting the referral e-mail.

Yep. I can't seem to find the option online, but I've been able to sign up for it by calling and asking for it. $30 gets you 100 minutes, unlim text, and 5gb of high speed.

zeth006: I am switching from Sprint to Cricket on Saturday. (My contract with Sprint ends on Friday.) Can I also get the referral code so that I can get a $25 credit? Thanks in advance!
