Hi! First time poster. I just got an s10. Previously had an s6. I had a Otterbox defender with a cover on my s6 and would like to have the same with the s10. However, the s10 has the fingerprint scanner on the screen.

I've tried to figure out which cover to go with and there are a lot of options. I've read this post: https://www.androidcentral.com/best-galaxy-s10-screen-protectors

Anyone have a Whitestone's Dome Glass? What do you think? The reviews appear to be mixed. How easy is it to get it off once it's on?

Hi,Whitestone Dome works well in my case. Just re register the fingerprints after applying.and as for how easy is it to get it off once it's on is that its never easy nor hard.depends on the amount of pressure applied and if the WSD is installed perfectly or it has some loose sides.

Dome glass working fine here. My first time install went fairly well with only slight ghosting at the top and bottom edge that appeared a few days after installing that I attribute to overzealous use of alcohol cleaning wipes (included wipes that are part of install cleanup process). There is a step to hold down the fingerprint sensor area during the install / curing phase and don't forget to re-register your prints.

Having followed these steps I still find the sensor can be a hit and miss at times. It's really my only frustration with this device and I'm not sure if it's just me or the protector itself because I've had it on since the first week I had the phone. Going to Display in settings and increasing screen sensitivity is supposed to help.

The one thing I haven't tried yet is going bare screen but I don't want to risk scratches because I carry in my pocket. However if you go full case / holster locked on it should be safe enough to go bare screen anyway.
