I'm looking at the screen protectors available, both invisible and anti-glare, and it seems 1/3 of reviewers say they interfere a little with stylus smoothness and 2/3 that say they have no problems. Anti-glare seems to work well but mute brightness/clarity of display in some cases. Anybody have any recommendations or personal experience with them? Thank you!

I'm using the Zagg's standard ones on all my devices that they make them for and really like them.

Welcome to the forums!

I'm a big screen protector kinda guy. I believe in protecting that glass. For my '14 Note 10.1 I ordered this. Hasn't shipped yet and I had to have something so I bought a Zagg Invisible Shield for the Galaxy Tab 3.0 10.1" and used my paper cutter to trim in down so it covers the whole screen except for the .5" from just under the Samsung logo to the edge. So, right now all 4 of my tablets have Zagg Invisible Shields on them.

Thank you both! I'm very excited to get this tablet, it will be my first and I definitely want a screen cover, this will be my first tablet and the most $$$ I've spent on something in a while and I've been flipflopping between this and the nexus 10 for a month. I'll be ordering it and accessories soon but won't get to see everything til I get back in the country Dec 14th (I'm in vet school out of the country). The wait is killing me and every day in class and clinics I think, boy I wish I had a tablet right now. Anyway, I definitely want to have a screen protector picked out and ready to go on the second I peel off the factory film!

I would also recommend getting a case too. This, from Best Buy worked well (and doesn't block access to the S Pen) and there's others, like this, that will be available next week.

That second one looks like it might be hard to get the stylus out

Thanks again, I'm thinking of this the poetic strapback case made specifically for the 2014 as the dimensions are a bit different between the 10.1's and I prefer the 4 angle to the fold up single angle

I ordered (2) packages of them based on user issues getting these on perfectly and removing the top film/sticker. Besides it was cheaper to order extra's now rather than later.

I use Plexus on all of my screens. It is a spray on wax coating that provides a thin layer of protection and fills in micro scratches. It was invented for motorcycle visors to protect them and make them easier to clean.

Interesting. Is it easy to get off? How does it work with the S-Pen?

I still have the Tab 3 10.1 Zagg Invisible Shield that I trimmed down on. The only issue is that the S-Pen doesn't glide smoothly on it which makes scribbling more challenging than feels natural. I thought my other screen protectors would have arrived by now but nopes.

from my '14 Note 10.1

I personally like the way the spen feels after applying it. The pen glides over the screen.

When my company used TabletPCs I shared my can of Plexus and some colleagues loved it and some hated it. The ones that hated it said the writing on the screen felt less like writing on paper since it was too smooth.

Puting Plexus on is like waxing your car, or an even better analogy is putting RainX on your windshield. You can't take it off, but it does wear off. My first 13oz can lasted about 6 years. I just bought my second a few months back.

I'm a ZAGG person. Ever since they came out with their newer version (HD series) I fell in love. Easy to clean and good protection.

You honestly put that on your screens? WHY???? we have tons of that at work and they use it for plexiglass. It offers no real protection other the the fact it does clean the surface real well and makes the screen shiny & slippery....which by the way can be easily cleaned off with simple alcohol. Doesn't add an shock protection, break protection or scratch protection to the screen, it's great as cleaner and polisher for plastic which is what it is intended for by design. Zagg is the way to go.

I got the Targus Kickstand case when I picked up the Note 2014 a week ago at my local BB but it was only $19.95, making it a great buy. When I was in the store the other day, all of the Kickstands were gone. At that price they must have sold very quickly.

Does BB have a Zagg for the 2014 model?
