MikG is another option to consider. It's fast and has plenty of tweaks.

I've tried a few. Synergy and MikG were really good. I loved Mik's hybrid 2.1/3.0 sense ROM. Ran very nicely.

I'm running CM7.1 now because Sense just takes up too much space.
