My sister is kinda done with her iphone 4 and would be willing to jump to android if she could find a good phone thats smaller in size. reason is because she can't fit the s3 in her pockets(shes tried and its bad), so i'm just wondering if there are any similar spec'd phones to the s3 but in a physically smaller size.

In general, you have to be content with a lower pixel density in addition to the lower resolution screen. Maybe something will be announced next month at MWC. Right now probably RAZR M and HTC One S or VX are the best options but they are last year's tech at this point. What carrier is she on?

thanks for the reply
she...probably doesn't care too much about ppi so that shouldn't be much of an issue. as for carrier, we're in canada and has like another year with rogers. i dont know waht phones they carry, but it'd be best for her not to sign another contract so that she can jump ship soon, so shes going to have to buy the phone off contract, or wait a year.

Razr M is great. Don't know it's on Rogers though.

Also the Galaxy s2 it's a great phone, it does not have the latest and greatest hardware but if your sister doesn't care about that it's really fast and great! And it Is on Rodgers.

The Droid Razr M, Galaxy SIII Mini, and HTC One S are all good small phones. I'm not sure which are compatible with Rogers though.

I suggest the nexus 4. The screen is 4.7 inches however it fits better in my pocket than my 4 inch evolution design did, do to the fact that it is thinner.

I wouldn't suggest the Nexus 4 for a small phone. Nexus 4 is a great, don't get me wrong, it's just far to large to operate one handed and doesn't fit comfortable in any pocket.
