Your article about the 'Best Smart Thermostats that Don't Require a C Wire' left out the absolute 'Best' Smart Thermostat which is the "Zen Thermostat" which uses four AA batteries that last for months so no need for any external power connection. In fact, the battery life of my Zen Thermostat has lasted over a year if not longer, but the manufacturer just rates it at 6 months. The Zen is Smartthings compliant too. Your article should have also mention that the need for Smart Thermostats that Don't Require a C Wire is mandatory if you live in an apartment since every apartment that I've ever lived in never had a C wire.
