Yes, available in the playstore and exclusive to vzw.No Verizon here sir. Is it just for them or is it in play store?
So far so good with this app. It feels light and I haven't seen big battery decreases from It.Textra is one of the more popular SMS apps; it is the one I use.
@joeykool
If your question is directed at me.... I'm told that it will let you DL but, upon setup it will say that you are not a Verizon customer and the app will not work.
I downloaded it. It installed...it worked fine until I sent a larger picture, then it just hung there. It may have worked since we came from Verizon and the phone number was in their system?
I uninstalled. I tried chomp, textra and did not like the customization. Then I tried others till I found handcent next sms. All I can say is...WOW! The customization is insane...i love it!
I tried textra too and didn't like it, I didn't say anything in here because I didn't want to discouraged anyone from trying it. I love customization which is in part why I like message +, so now I will have to try handcent next. Thanks.
OK, I will. Here's a suggestion for you. I don't know what launcher you use and everyone praises Nova. I use LINE launcher (I heard about it on this forum) it has a lot of the same customization that your referring to in the text app, if not more. If your looking for a good launcher too, try LINE.Let me know what you think? You could take hours customizing it. Themes, bubble color, font, font size, font color, notification icon and color, you can make a background pic. And what is even kooler is you can change it all per contact! Insane!

Almost all the battery use with texting is the transmitter - and that depends on the phone and your location relative to the tower - it has nothing to do with the app.What about WhatsApp? Isn't it a message/texting app? How does it do for battery life?
Re: message+What about WhatsApp? Isn't it a message/texting app? How does it do for battery life? I'm interested in preserving battery life too...want something functional and not too complicated.
As far as message+...I have a verizon phone that I am going to use with another carrier that uses Verizon towers. Will Message+ work?
