Verizon Galaxy S8 Best solution to stream FiOS streaming TV

So my wife and I recently purchased a second home and I'm trying to figure out the cheapest way to stream TV without having to pay for another Verizon /Comcast /whatever subscription.

What I want to do us take my galaxy s8+ and stream the fios app to a TV since streaming is data free on my plan. I tried using a chromecast but that doesn't work well at all with the lag and stuttering.

Is there an HDMI out from the phone? Or would using the Dex dock work in this instance since I could have a mouse / keyboard on the couch and use the fios app from there? Anyone try this?
