Hi Folks,
I have about 4000 songs on my SGIII and I listen to them in my car (via old school tape deck modified hook up) and I DJ at my school for various events using my phone.

I have been using Player Pro, but I came across this DFX player pro and the sound quality is amazing, right out of the box so to speak. It does not have alot of the visual things I like with Player Pro, but I was curious to see if anyone else has had the chance to use it. I used to use the DFX on my windows media player on my computer, but was surprised to see it for android.

If there are other suggestions, please let me know. I have found this DFX to be very very clean and love the sound. I think they are associated with fxsound.com

Thank you in advance for your help with this.

ps- Does the fact I have so much music on my sd card cause it to drain the crap out of the battery (MEDIA problem) I guess....

Coach,

Hopefully I can provide a couple of insights here. First as it relates to the SD Card, it can cause some battery drain with the media scanning periodicially. I forget how often that runs, but if the library is constantly changing that could contribute to some battery drain.

As for the music player question. To date, BY FAR my best experience has been with PowerAmp as a music player. I'm at work so I can't hop on to the Play Store and provide a link, but I downloaded several phones ago (might have been my Evo before my SII and now SIII). The trial version blew me away that I happily spent the 5 bucks for the full version after my first trip into work using it. It seems pretty full featured (I like the queue ability) and the adjustable EQ is great as I switch between 3 primary audio sources (car through headphone jack, Bose QC2 and Monster in ear Turbines). All obviously have a different capabilities and such. Being able to optomize all 3 was a great benefit and now I just flip between them. It's pretty easy to use, is quite visually appealing (the look and feel of the knobs is nice), and sounds AMAZING.

Hope that helps in some way!!

I have tried poweramp, its pretty good, but the sound from the DFX has been amazing...even with bad mp3's that you download from like Gtunes, or youtube, etc...they sound clear and has about 20 presets...I was just curious what everyone thought.
