Best Tablets under $150

Stock Android tablets that go below $150? Want something cheap but, useable. Getting a HP laptop and considered their tablet offerings and wanted the Android Central community to weigh in.

Nah, $150 is my set limit. It's how much I played for my phone. Never pay more for a tablet than I do for a smartphone.

I think the Sero 7 Pro is your best option at $149 (unless you want to get a Kindle Fire HD at $159). But you could also go cheaper and buy the HP Mesquite for $99. It has about the same battery life and performance (unless you're into gaming) but is missing the cameras, HDMI port, and pretty shell.

I have reviewed both tablets and I am impressed with what HP accomplished with a single core Intel chip.

Unless you buy your phones off contract, that is a really unfair comparison and you will end up with tablets that are significantly worse than your phone.

Unless you buy your phones off contract, that is a really unfair comparison and you will end up with tablets that are significantly worse than your phone.

I'm not buying for the long haul, just to have a good one at my set limit.

deals for a nexus 7 2012 are fairly common lately. i got a 32gb one for $120 about a month ago. imo, that is the best tablet for under 150. and although i'm not a fan of amazon, you can pick up a fire hd for under 150.

staples. it was a black friday thing.

i know it is a smidge above what you want, but the nexus 7 2013 16gb can be had right now for 170 i think at office depot.

i saw a nook hd for 89 bucks today as a refurb, and that is a quality tablet as well, but that deal expired at midnight. i guess my point is look around and wait. deals happen.

Then I'd get a venue 7. The 8 is actually a little above $150, it is $179.
