Best way to back up apps for a factory reset?

I'd prefer to have the least amount of difficulty restoring my paid apps. I know there's AppBrain. Are there any other options for backing up my apps? Or should I just go join AB long enough to restore my apps after the factory reset?

You need to root the device and then run a titanium backup.

At this point I'm not rooting...I may in a couple weeks, but I'm expecting another small bugfix OTA, and outside of setCPU and one or two other tweaks there's not a whole lot of reason for me to root just yet.

I do not believe there is a good backup unless you root.. I love titanium personally
