I'm currently using an S23 ultra and am thinking about buying a 12. What is the best way to buy one or where to buy one? I'm looking to trade in or sell my S23U and possibly finance the phone. I'm using Verizon.

Currently the only two places I've seen are directly from OnePlus and from Best Buy. Both offer the same amount of trade in for my S23 ultra. However, both sites make you pay for the balance up front on a credit card.

Is there any place to buy it where I can finance it for longer than say 6 months? I'd also like to be able to use PayPal credit if possible.

I've always bought from One plus site , Best buy do you use their card maybe purchase the rest on that ?

You can choose the official OnePlus website, it is usually the primary source for purchasing OnePlus devices. They often offer special deals, bundles, and promotions directly to customers. Also you can go with the authorized retailers, both online and physical stores, may also sell OnePlus devices.

I think the best deal would be for me to sell my phone and pay for it outright. It seems my S23 ultra is selling for around $700 on Swappa. I would probably buy the new phone before I end up selling my S23 ultra. I can get $300 more by selling it than trading it in.

Me personally I would keep the s23u over the 1+12

Yeah, I can see that argument. I'm also considering switching to an iPhone but it's a hard pill to swallow. Because of the price. I only want a Pro Max with at least 256gb. But going through Verizon, I'd only get $400 for a trade in credit over the course of 36 months. If I jumped up my plan another $25/month, I'd get $1000 trade in credit. That's $900 over 36 months. Plus I don't need the more expensive data plan. Then if I want a watch, I'd have to sell my Galaxy watch and buy an apple watch.

Just weighing my options. I think I'll probably just wait until I pay off my phone more then see what my options are. I am trying to avoid buying a phone from Verizon at all costs and Apple makes it nearly impossible to do that.

I've tried Apple a couple of times before and keep switching back to Android.

I've just always been curious to try a OnePlus.

I've only had my S23U for 6 months and here I am look at other phones again.

I'm not really that serious about it as it just doesn't make financial sense right now. I'm basically trying to see what the options are for buying one.

I'm hoping the Pixel 9 pro is a better phone than the 7 and 8 were. My bad experience on the 7 pro left a bad taste in my mouth for Google hardware. But I do prefer a more simplified os than Samsung.

I don't like carrier bill credit at all , unlock versions have been the way I go.
iPhone are great phones just little too boring even though I've had them all from Very first version lol.

I had the OnePlus 12. I really liked the phone size. Battery life was amazing. I even sold my S23 Ultra and was going to keep the OnePlus as my only daily driver. Three preteen I sike my S23 Ultra to on eBay requested a return due to an undisclosed small scratch on the screen. So I refunded the purchase.
During my time with the OnePlus, it was great, but with little things that lacked polish and smoothness like the S23 Ultra. So I sold it and decided to keep the S23 Ultra until this weekend. I saw a sale on the Samsung website. With discounts abs S23 Ultra trade in, I ordered aS24 Ultra 512gb for $440. Only 2 colors were offered in the sale, so I ordered a sky blue version to try it out.
I purchased my oneplus from eBay for $699. It was the black version with 16gb ram and 512gb storage. I recommend getting it. It is a really strong phone.

I caved and got the 12 via oneplus webpage. With pixel 7 pro trade in the 12 version was $401. Couldn't pass up that price. Not really a fan on oneplus devices. But I seems the 12 is the best of the bunch so far. So I'll give it a try.

Did you dislike the Pixel 8 Pro?

I like every phone. But I preferred the s24 U over the pixel 8 pro. So I sold the 8 pro. I But I've read nothing but raves about the OP 12. If I like it, I'll sell the S24 U I figure the $400 is just too good a price compared to the S24 Ultra. But I'll see if the hype about the OP 12 is real.
