Best way to get movies, store on SD card and play with what app OFFLINE

Add the top says ; I am looking for movies to play on my S2 9.7. I have a great Samsung 128GB. I am not rooted and have never tried rooting any phone or tablet I have owned yet.
I thought I would be able to use digital downloads on those respective titles I purchased that had that with a physical DVD or Blu Ray but it seems impossible to do this offline

While this may not be the answer you're looking for, the best way to go about it would be to use a program like DVDFab and just convert the disc to a video file, and then just put the files onto an sd card. I prefer to extract the subtitles as idx/sub files so I have 3 files per title. If you want to keep it neat just put each movie into its own folder and put all of those folders into a folder called Movies or whatever you like. Then use MX Player (it's free and a great player) to monitor your video library. You can get the quality vs size ratio you like best and you don't have to jump through any ridiculous hoops downloading anything.
