Best way to manage groups and send group texts

I need to send group texts to some people who attend meetings. The groups are about 20 - 30 in each of two groups. I have their permission to do this. When I use Message+ on my phone it is TERRIBLE for selecting groups of people. You have to select the groups one person at a time. It's very tedious. If you exceed some number there is an issue.

Is there a better app for this or a way that I may not understand using a phone app?

Purpose: moving some face to face meetings to a conference call meeting because of coronavirus.

I'm not sure if it's very similar on the Samsung Contacts app, but on the Google Contacts app, you can make contact groups (called Labels), then easily send a group text by selecting that label, then tapping the menu button, then Send Message.
