best way to re-apply an invisible shield?

Bestbuy did a horrible job putting on the invisible shield to my Evo 3D, they did an AWESOME job putting it on my Samsung Epic 4G that i just exchanged for the 3D though.

So what is the best way to re-apply it, if any?

Run a hot shower and stand in the steam while you apply it. Prevents dust and lint.

That can't be a good idea. Electronics and steam don't play well together.
