Best way to use S-Pen to mark up a photo?

I have a Note4. I use the standard samsung camera app and the pictures go into the Gallery and into Google Photos.

Sometimes I'd like to take the picture and then pull out the pen and mark up something in the photo and have it saved in my Gallery and in Google Photo.

I do have an app called Phonto but that requires starting it up and browsing to the Gallery to select the photo. And then further selections of tools to get around to marking up the photo. Way too many steps to be convenient.

Is there functionality built into the Samsung S-pen, S-Note, S-Memo tools for doing this immediately after a picture has been shot?

Write on image by tapping on the 3 dots at top right corner or Studio, also in that list.

That is exactly what I was looking for. Using write on image I can use the S-pen.

And using Studio I can select Label and get to Style selection and then start inputting text from the keyboard.
