Better Facebook App

Anyone know about the development of future facebook application updates? I really enjoyed the emails going directly to the facebook app instead of the mobile site on my BB Storm...

Facebook has an new site just for touch devices, beats any app out there. touch.facebook.com

I would like a new app that would "push" the emails/notifications too. (About the only thing I miss from my Storm)

While the touch.fb.com site is good, I would like to get notified of updates right on the phone without having to check the site.

i don't think anything has been said about a new release yet.

all i want is someone to port the iphone app over. it can't be that hard can it?

lately, i've just been using a combination of emails for alerts and then going to the touch site to check up on things...

I miss the notification from my blackberry too. It was nice getting them right away.
